Andy Card Comes to Knoxville- Blount County Young Republicans

The Blount County Young Republicans are proud to announce that Mr. Andrew Card will address attendees at their fundraiser on May 17th as the keynote speaker.  Mr. Card, a Massachusetts native and life-long Republican, has served under several Republican Presidents, including Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, and George W. Bush.  Most notably, Mr. Card served as Secretary of Transportation from 1992-1993, and as White House Chief of Staff to President George W. Bush from 2000-2006.

The event will be held on Monday, May 17th from 6:30-8:30 PM at the Sunsphere in Knoxville.  Mr. Card will be joined by many other elected officials from across the state, including Tennessee Republican Party Chairman Chris Devaney and Secretary of State Tre Hargett.  Tickets are now on sale until May 13th for $55 each.  Space is limited, so please reserve your seat as soon as possible.  For tickets, contact either Andrew Tipton at 599-7687 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
